Loreleys Story

On April 7th, 2022 we attended our 20 week anatomy scan for our first daughter to be told that she no longer had a heartbeat. We were planning a homebirth with a community midwife so we had to wait for care to be coordinated with a local hospital to deliver her. After just a few hours of Labor I quickly delivered Loreley Luna into my midwifes hands on April 8th. She was so perfect and so tiny. We were able to spend a few hours with her before saying our final goodbyes.

Surviving losing Loreley would have been impossible without the support of others. If you are experiencing a loss, regardless of gestation, I would be humbled to walk that path alongside you. I will come and sit with you wherever you are delivering and stay with you until you are ready for me to leave. I will then be availalable to you for 1 in person postpartum appointment and via text for the first 6 weeks after delivery.
