Doula Services
As your doula we will meet twice before delivery, our first meeting will be shortly after your decision to hire me to touch base and to further discuss your ideal birth experience this is also when we will sign contracts and go over paperwork. At the next appointment, around 34 weeks, we will go over some comfort measures and other techniques we might use during delivery, discuss any changes to your care and delivery plan and I will answer any questions you may have. I will then be on call for you starting from 37 weeks until you go into labor. I will be available at the onset of active labor until 2 hours after delivery. From there we will have 1 postpartum appointment where we will process your delivery experience and screen for any postpartum mood disorders.
